Next chappie:
*In sector 540, M.O.B. headquarters, just as Numbuh 4 arrives**
"Well, well, it looks like we have the Kids Next Door at our mercy! Or at least this section.." The Delightful children said.
"Fight like a kid, you little wimps!!" Numbuh 10 yelled at them, but she was unable to move. The Delightful Children From Down the Lane had a paralyzing ray, and they had apparently used it on everyone in this area.
"Now, now, Kimberly, is that a healthy way to deal with your frustration?" The Delightful Children asked.
"No..but this is!" Numbuh 4 cried, kicking the device out of their hands. "Numbuh 10, is there a way to turn your paralyzation off?"
"No..it has to wear off...I'm afraid you're on your own!" Numbuh 10 said.
"Well...since your talking, I'm guessing your's will be worn off soon?" He asked. She nodded. The others in the bay still couldn't even blink. Well..I don't need the help anyways! You're goin down, Delightful Dorks!"
He flung himself at them, kicking and punching. The delightful children, of course, had no talent for hand-to-hand-combat, so Numbuh 4 felt sure of himself. But he didn't see the red button on a remote one of the Delightful Children had. Which means he didn't see them press it...........
****Back in Jas, Em, and Mel's work station****
"What have you done to her?!" Emily demanded of Cree. Cree smiled.
"I didn't do it. It's a natural body function. Very few people don't turn at least somewhat evil once they turn 14!" She said.
"You creep! You did this! You had to have! Melanie would never---" Jasmine said, but was cut off.
"That's what you think! Idiot kids..you didn't realize I'd turn on you? Too bad! I'm with the adults now, sweetie..Have been for longer than anyone's realized!" Melanie said, pulling out a freeze ray, and freezing both Jaz and Em to their spots.
Cree smiled, then pulled out a walkie-talkie. "Mel's ready to help, Father."
"Excellent, my children. Now..get to sector 540, Melanie will show you the way! Your siblings are in need of help..."

"I don't understand! Why would you turn against us like this, Melanie?" Jasmine demanded.
"You idiots!" Chad burst into the room in that moment. "That isn't Melanie. It's Melody, duh!" he rolled his eyes.
"Melody?! Huh?" Jasmine and Emily asked in unison.
"Simple. I'm an actual descendent of father's. The second-oldest of the Delightful Children, not including the ones father has 'adopted', so to speak. His oldest was Melanie, the girl you befriended. My twin sister." Melody explained, smiling sinisterly.
"MELANIE WAS A DELIGHTFUL CHILD?!" Now Emily was REALLY confused.
"By blood, yes, but by mentality, heck no. It was easy to trick her into switching places with me..I just pushed her into my closet on the day she was scheduled to be frozen," Melody explained, "and changed into these all black pieces of junk that she considered clothing. We knew she didn't belong in the family...our first hint was how much she despised the taste of coffee..then, when she joined the Kids Next Dorks...father was most displeased..."
"Nice story, but if you would, PLEASE WRAP IT UP!" Jasmine yelled.
"Oh, I'm done with my story. And you two are about done with your lives!" Melody yelled, raising a strange gun to Emily's heart.
But suddenly, one of the walls crumbled, revealing what looked like Melody.
"What do you think you're doing?" The girl asked, stepping into the room.
"What do YOU think you're doing, Melanie?! I'm about to get rid of these annoying pre-teens! You're a teenager, you could help you know!" Melody griped, moving her gun into position on Melanie's heart.
"You're crazy, are you aware of that? If I didn't join when dad wanted me to, why would I now? You're crazy, sis. I just came up here to stop you and help them out...to try to make a tiny bit of amends to what my psychopathic family has done to the Kids next door all these years.."
"That's real sweet, sis, but uh, buh-bye!" Melody said, blasting Melanie into a wall.
The distraction of Melanie had given Jaz enough time to knock Chad out while Melody wasn't looking, and to sneak up on Melody.
"I don't think you'll be needing that anymore!" Jasmine called, kicking the gun out of Melody's hands, and to where Emily could easily reach it.
"Call your father's little cronies off, or I shoot." Emily threatened. Melody's eyes grew wide.
"You wouldn't dare!"
"Try me." Emily put more weight on the trigger. By now, the tiniest move Emily made could make the whole gun fire.
"I give. I'll call them off." Melody's eyes lowered, and she started to raise a walkie talkie to her lips..
**back in M.O.B. headquarters**
"You ready to give up, delightful dorks?!" Numbuh 4 asked.
"Oh..we may be ready to give up..but our brothers and sisters might have a problem with that." The Delightful Children said in their erie unison.
"What's that supposed to meAAAAAAAAAAAAN!" Numbuh four found out before he could get his question out. A teenager had grabbed him and thrown him across the room, pushing him right into the water fountain, which was now spurting water all over the place.
Numbuh 10 noticed the effect the water had on the kids who had been paralyzed..they were able to move whatever body part had been hit by the water.
"Numbuh 4, the water!" she yelled.
"I think your thirst can wait a little while, Numbuh 10!" Numbuh 4 yelled back.
"Not that, you idiot, spray everyone that was paralyzed with the water!" she yelled. Numbuh 4 looked annoyed, but fought his way back to the water fountain, and moved it back and forth across the room, dousing all the paralyzed kids next door members and returning them to full mobility.
As the kids became unparalyzed, they ran towards the teenagers. The teenagers were outnumbered and were quickly brought down.
One of their walkie-talkies went off, and Numbuh 4 answered it. "Hello?"
"Hello? Yeah..guys..I was defeated, so um..either give up, or please help!" The voice pleaded.
"Oh, they've already given up..teenager!" Numbuh 4 growled.
Author's notes: Um..I think I'll go ahead and write the next chapter in a few minutes!

Next chapter:
"So...if Melanie was really Melody in disguise, does that mean I don't even get a trial?!" Numbuh 4 demanded.
Melanie laughed. It surprised everyone she could manage being even somewhat cheerful after her ordeal. She had bandages all over her body from being shot into the wall.
"Numbuh 4, when they say I'm the best with rules and regulations, they aren't joking. I have the evidence for your trial ready, but all of you have to promise me one thing." She looked straight at the group.
"Simply name it. You seem to be one of the few non-evil teenagers the world has." Numbuh 1 said honestly. Melanie smiled.
"Thank you. I must ask you that when Numbuh 4's trial is over, that you would please, please, kindly decomission me. I still know too much about the Kids next door...and with a father like mine, that's not a good thing." She admitted.
"You have our word, Numbuh 49." Numbuh 86 said, shaking her hand.
"Decomissioning..now I can see why it's such a good idea. After all you never know who has an evil twin or not!" Jasmine said cheerfully.
"Yes..I really should've told everyone about her, but there was already so much animosity towards me from the few members that new I was the child of Father.." Melanie lowered her head. "I'm sorry. But look, the trial's about to start...c'mon, Numbuh 4." She lead him into the court room.
Numbuh 4 looked around the room. If he had to describe it in one word, it would be 'gigantaenormous'. Before him sat Numbuh 362 and many of the other more influential members of the Kids Next Door. Off to the side sat his team members, who all looked rather somber, except for Numbuh 3, who was smiling at him.
"Girls and boys of the jury..I present to you the first draft of Kids Next Door rule book, along with a recent Kids Next Door judicial agreement." Melanie handed a large book and some papers to the judges. Numbuh 362 stared at her like she was nuts.
"And um..your point is?" She demanded.
"Simple, your honor. The ruling was to add a few KND laws, correct? (all the judges nodded) And that none of the rules should be altered?" Melanie asked.
Again, all the judges nodded.
"Look at the rule Numbuh 4 is being prosecuted for in the first draft and in the newest copy. I have the pages tabbed for you." Melanie said. The judges did as asked, and flipped to the pages. "If you look at the first copy, it clearly states 'Should two kids next door members fall for each other, they may leave the kids next door OR just leave their team.'" She quoted.
"All right then, we rule to move Numbuh 4 to a different sector!" Numbuh 362 said, about to pound the gavel.
"HOLD ON! There's a loophole. 'Should these feelings be induced by any outside force, the agents will be dismissed from any punishment'. And, as the M.O.B. reports on Numbuh 3 will prove, there certainly was an outside force affecting her judgement." She finished.
"All right then, Numbuh 4, you are hereby allowed to return to your team. We're sorry for this inconvenience." Numbuh 362 apologized.
"C'mon teenager, time to be decomissioned!" Numbuh 86 came forward and slapped some hand-cuffs on Melanie.
"Hold on..how did you know about the M.O.B. reports?" Numbuh 4 asked.
"Eh..I put a bug on my sister..I heard every word she said..time to get decomissioned..bye!" Melanie allowed Numbuh 86 to lead her off.
Author's note: One more chapter to go!
